the hands-on experimental and exploratory study basic robotic structure built using Lego Mindstorms components and/or other open source components, divided into many specialized fields that cover their cyber-physical interactive system, sub systems including power, Touch, Light, Color, Rotational, and ultrosonic sensors, control using a basic micro-controller, and basic application programming using kid-friendly LabView programming software. Elementary school students work on grade and skill appropriate projects.
"An A level student at Mathobotix Labs, Nikita is studying buildologie I to become a future engineer."
Objectives: Students will have fun while learning basic static structures used in robotics by applying the fundamentals of math and science concepts. They perform inventory, create Bill of materials (BOM) that are crucial components in any engineering and technology fields. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to build strong and stable structures, describe the basics of robotic sub-systems, and demonstrate their projects using Mathobotix ePortfolio.
Simple machines, basic micoro-controller programming using LabView Software, kinematics (laws of motion), driver's training, obstacle course, basic geometry, measurements, unit conversions. 1) inventory, shapes, structures, stability, volume, area. 2) motors, drive train,3) motion, gear ratios, drive train, 4) motion, gear ratios, kinematics.
