OPEN HOUSE/ INFO SESSION
Join our K-12 Maker Lab Open House to get a first-hand experience and see how your kids can learn grade level academic subjects in our STEM Labs through our five signature series of after-school programs: Buildologie®, Codologie® Gamologie®, Appologie®, and Fabologie®. K-12 students are welcome to attend the Open House.
The open house includes the following activities:
Show & Tell by current Bytes & Bots young Engineers and Scientists, when available.
Short presentation on our program. Hands-on and/or interactive sample experience of our programs. Subject to availability.
Q and A on the following topics:
Bytes & Bots clubs & Project-based AP Computer Science Prep Course for High School Students.
Bytes & Bots STEM Clubs - a great choice for high school students.
Spring, Winter, and Summer camps
STEM Competitions: MAKEathon, FIRST(Jr.FLL, FLL, FTC, and FRC), Science Olympiad, Orange County Science and Engineering Fair, International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), and more.
Integrated STEM education and Project-based curriculum.
Please Note: No food/drinks in the lab!
Party Packages
A Robotics Birthday Party!
Kids will build robots and play fun games! Believe it or not, you might learn a little Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics while having fun! 3 hours of FUN and STEM Education!
Kids will be grouped into age appropriate teams. Robotic kits with necessary parts and components are given to each teams. Our mentors will guide the teams through the build-and-play!
Birthday parties are 3 hours long with 3 different events they can choose:
These events require a competition component, we will explain to the students about sportsmanship and team skills .
Soccer
Recommended for the older students 10 years and higher. Students will pair up and build a robot that is remote controlled and play soccer against another player. The objective of the game is to score as much points as possible under the time limit. There will be competition brackets where teams can advanced for a final.
Sumo
Enjoyed by any age students. They will work on building a base robot and add contraptions to the robot. The rules are simple: no parts can fall of the robot, robot must stay inside the circle and if the robot falls over it has 5 seconds to recover. There is also competition brackets where teams can advanced for a final.
Battle bots:
This one requires students to be creative. They will build a robot from scratch and try to survive rounds of other robots attacking each other. Rule is if the robot stops moving for 5 seconds the robot is out. Winner is last one standing.
Alpha-Bot
Up to 10 kids.
Fee $40 per student
Beta-Bot
Up to 15 kids.
Fee $35 per student
Astro-Bot
Up to 20 kids.
Fee $30 per student
Ultra-Bot
More than 20 kids.

½ payment is required before the event starts. Other half will be at the end just incase there are drop ins.
Depending on the size of the party, we can move to the other side of the place for more space. Parents are welcome to stay and sit in but cannot participate.
You are welcome to come in and check out the location before you agree to participate in this location. We do not provide food. You can come in 1 hour early for setup. We will provide chairs and tables for the students only. Please let us know at least 2 weeks before so we can book the day.
