Course Title: Exploring Robotics with EV3 Lego: From Building to Racing

Course Overview: Are you ready to dive into the world of robotics and engineering? Our 10-week course is designed to take young minds on an exciting journey from building their very own EV3 Lego robot to collaborating with team members on an epic rally race project. Here’s a breakdown of what your child will experience:

Weeks 1-2: Robot Building and Mechanical Mastery

• We start by exploring the mechanical properties of robotics. Students will learn about gears, stability, and sturdiness while building their EV3 Lego robot from scratch.

Weeks 3-4: Introduction to Programming

• It’s time to bring the robot to life! Students will be introduced to a simple drag-and-drop programming environment, similar to Scratch. They’ll learn to program their robot’s movements and actions, setting the stage for exciting challenges.

Weeks 5-6: Navigating the Maze

• Students will put their programming skills to the test as they learn to use sensors effectively. The challenge? Navigating a maze! They’ll apply what they’ve learned to guide their robot through twists and turns, developing problem-solving abilities along the way.

Weeks 7-10: Rally Race Project

• In the final stretch, students will collaborate with their peers to build a grand project that requires teamwork and creativity. They’ll design, program, and race their robots in an epic rally competition, applying everything they’ve learned throughout the course.
