Description
In this camp, students will learn the basics of Lego Robotics using the NXT or EV3 platform and work on past FLL competition challenges. They will design, build and program robots to solve various tasks using sensors and motors, while learning important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. By the end of the course, they will be ready to take on the next FLL competition!
Day 1: Introduction to Lego Robotics and basics of programming using NXT or EV3. Students will start building their robots and learn to program basic movements.
Day 2: Introduction to sensors and their usage in robotics. Students will learn to use sensors to make their robots perform specific tasks.
Day 3: Building more complex robots and incorporating advanced programming concepts like loops and conditional statements.
Day 4: Learning to troubleshoot and debug programs, and further practice in building robots.
Day 5: Competition day! Students will use their robots to solve challenges similar to past FLL competitions, with an emphasis on teamwork and problem-solving.
Throughout the week, students will also have the opportunity to engage in other activities and challenges related to Lego Robotics, and have fun while learning important skills in robotics and programming.
