Students learn to interpret electronic schematics, understand selected electronic components and AC and DC power distribution.
They then design a printed circuit board and generate its Gerber files that will be used to professionally fabricate the board.
In preparation for Electronic Engineering II, they also learn the basics of coding, cross-compiling, downloading, and debugging simple C/C++ embedded computer programs.
